  He is AMAZING! It sickens me that we still live in a country that, instead of cherishing and appreciating his OBVIOUS talent…instead does the predicable “discredit / focus on something that takes our eyes off of anything positive”

  The worst, is that it’s always in the name of religion. Well, as a proud Christian, I believe that since God made ALL of us, and told us to love one another… the intent was never to be so cruel to one another.

  The old saying “let him without sin, cast the first stone” comes to mind.

  In other words…as humans, it’s not our job to be so judgemental; it’s our job to treat everyone as we would want to be treated. I do believe that is the golden rule?

  And again…as a christian… I ask that people listen to the way “they” talk about the “Gays”… the downfall of America, ruin our children’s lives, etc… you know, it’s very similar to the way Jews were referred to for MANY, MANY years

  And really, anyone other than a white male.

  I’m grateful for my life, my experiences, and my faith. And, I see a lot more danger from what our government is doing… (i.e.: bank bailout) than someone that loves someone of the same sex.

  I’m not gay, and I don’t believe that I can just choose to be gay next week or anytime else. I DO believe that God DID in fact, create ALL of us. The Bible tells us to love one another… I think that’s actually the “golden rule”.

  There’s a reason for that. You have to be compassionate, caring, and respectful of all God’s creation.

  At best, the smartest person uses 10% of their brain. That tells me… that NONE of us has it so perfect or so sin-free, that we can judge another’s personal path.

  Off the soap box… Adam, I cannot believe how KICK ASS you did on “Fire”. OMG!!!!! I knew you were something special, I just didn’t have any idea how you’d BRING it so early on!!!

  Please keep being you, put your spin on every song you sing. I’ve listen to the three from AI already, and I can’t stop watching the video from “Fire”. WOW. Took things to a whole NEW level!!!!!!!

  Take care everyone… just know that there are some of us out there, that’s just trying to be right, do right and are not so quick to judge. You ARE beautiful and I love you for who you are and I love you for having the courage to be YOU!

  To Julia: I just cried when I read your post. I was brought up Christian and like many others at times we forget our teachings and the way we should
  live. I so wish others would read your posting and just maybe we would live in a more peaceful and loving world. It is so sad that there is so much hate out there. Thank you so much. And on a lighter note, I do hope that Adam is appreciated for his God given talent. He not only deserves praise
  for his vocal talent but our respect.
