Another absolutely stunning performance. After a week of slowing it down, Adam again stepped it up with another high energy performance. With all the other favorites seeming very pedestrian, Adam might be running away with this.

Personally, this is my favorite performance of the year. Absolutely amazing. This is a #1 type hit. Adam is just blossoming. This is a haunting song. And he finds ways to add his signature on it. This is the reason I watch this show. When you get a standing O from Simon, you did SOMETHING right.
Adam Lambert – “Play That Funky Music White Boy†by Wild Cherry – iTunes
And funky he was! Adam again took a classic (albeit, a very fun) song and made it his own, as usual. He was clearly one of the best of the night and again showed off the charisma and charm that has him as a favorite.
Adam Lambert – “Tracks of My Tears†by Smokey Robinson – Buy on iTunes
This is THE best performance of this years Idol and very likely will be the moment, when looking back, people say was THE turning point. Last week, Adam’s controversial take on another classic, Ring of Fire, had everyone buzzing. This weeks “Tracks of My Tears” has everyone in awe. All the judges LOVED Adam, including SIMON, who said it was the best of the night. The girls love him as usual! But do you? Which female judge is your favorite?
Two original songs from Adam:Â First song is Rough Trade, second song is Turning On.
A great remake of Five for Fighting – “I Just Love You”. Adam again shows that he can sing straight up, but still add in parts that are very him. Amazing!
Here’s a little different type of song from Adam Lambert. Very much a ballad… Quiet Desperation. He can sing anything… Amazing
