“Yes, I have been booked on Idol! Can’t reveal the date yet but it’s a ways off… So excited. Kris and Allison were awesome last night”
That was from his Twitter account last Friday. Exciting!

In the wake of the devastating earthquake last week that left Haiti in ruins, ET and The Red Cross are teaming up with the Hollywood community to lend support to the major crisis in Haiti and now best-selling singer Adam Lambert has come exclusively to the ET stage to help in the effort.
How you can help: Financial donations can be made at www.redcross.org, 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or mail your donation to the American Red Cross, P.O. So we’ve saved the juiciest for last… Adam Lambert not only kissed a guy during his controversial performance at the AMA’s, he also simulated oral sex from a guy.

“You know honestly, if I offended some people… it’s apples and oranges. I’m not an artist that does things for every single person. I believe in artistic freedom and expression, I believe in honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren’t really for everybody either.”
He added, “People are scared and it’s really sad, I just wish people could open their minds up and enjoy things, it’s all for a laugh, it’s really not that big of a deal.”
Adam Lambert’s Racy AMA Performance has everyone talking… Especially Adam himself.
He said, “If it’s edited, that’s discrimination. I will be a little disappointed because there is a little bit of discrimination going in this country. There’s a big double standard, female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years, and the fact that I’m a male, and I’ll be edited and discriminated against could be a problem.”
Then it came true. While Madonna and Britney’s makeout session was cute, when Adam kissed male keyboardist Tommy Ratliff, who is straight, he gets censored. A double standard? Adam sure thinks so.
“Shock is fun, shock rock is like something that existed, for example, like in the 70’s, Alice Cooper…David Bowie, you had artists that liked to push the envelope and that’s what made them so fresh,” he explained. “I think that surprise is part of entertainment. I think that it keeps people watching its fun, it makes you laugh and it should be that way. And if it made you uncomfortable, maybe I’m not for you.”
Here’s the backstage video:

It was an exclusive event for American Idol fans. It isn’t everyday that you see these three superstars sharing the same stage. Yesterday, Good Morning America featured these three great men with great talents in their show yesterday.
Their performance on the show is part of Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series. During their performance, many had noted the similarity in Adam Lambert and David Cook’s musical style. However, Adam said that they are individual artists very differnet in many ways. He takes it as a compliment though, saying it is his pleasure to be compared with a past American Idol.

In a recent interview, Adam Lambert was straightforwardly asked about the nail polish issue with a fan whom he lashed out on as reported. The incident happend during one of the American Idol tours, when Adam is supposed to be drying his nail polish when somebody grabbed him and ruined his nails. He got angry and yelled at the fan.
When asked about it, Adam Lambert said that this incident never happened. And that just laugh at it when he first heard about it. He even said he loves it when the write ups quote “a very reliable source” or “somebody close to Adam”.
Seems like our Idol is still the humble person that everybody knows he is.
