Adam Lambert Good Morning America Concert Cancelled
So 1500 people complain, so Adam Lambert gets canned for Good Morning America on ABC? Nice, ABC. Very classy. Even though YOU watched his rehearsal, saw what was going to happen, and still decided to air his performance.
15,000,000 people watched the show… 1500 complained. It’s kind of baffling really.
The most amazing part is that Janet Jackson has a very similar performance and even after the infamous superbowl boobies is still allowed on screen. There’s definitely a double standard.
CBS’s Early Show, always up for some controversy, gobbled up the opportunity to have Adam on and will showcase him this week.

What the hell are you talking about? Janet Jackson was branded a whore,disinvited to the Grammys,And her career was nearly distroyed over a .8 second glimps of her damn nipple.if u blinked you missed it.This thing is still in court to this day. Adam was making out with his band on stage, simulated getting head,felt himself up, and then flipped the middle finger. they both were wrong for performing too sexually on public TV but Janet Jackson got treated totally unfearly and Adam will most likely come out with just a pat on the back.

Adam is just pushing the envelope to see just how big he can be now that MJ is gone. He will never be the Thriller. Everyone knows that Adam is gay. Are kids supposed to be impressed and want to be like him? The man upstairs is watching.. if anyone cares.

Classy?!! Are you kidding me? I loved Adam on Idol,but I don’t intend to buy a thing of his now. Heterosexual or homosexual, a performer simulating oral sex has reached a new low. It disgusts me that CBS decided to give Adam yet another venue.

Adam, what were you thinking. You have a wonderful voice and on one of your most importance appearances you draw attention to things that people don’t care to see.
This may ruin your singing career. It is ashame because you did have possibilites.

SHAME on hypocritical ABC!! ABC soaps, like ONE LIFE TO LIVE, just aired a mass gay/lesbian wedding ceremony where women and men were kissing and a main story line is about 2 gay men. SO it’s ok to show gay’s and lesbians kissing during daytime hours and not @ 10 cst??? KUDOS to cbs for crabbing up the interview and recognizing TALENT!! I will continue to be an Adam supporter, he has an AMAZING voice!!

First off his vocals sucked as many of other performers. Secondly gay or not I just like a good act, but he stunk. I’m no prude, but a sexually charged performance has no place on network tv. I’m glad he is getting beat up over this and he should MAN up and apologize for his conduct. Choose to do that kind of act with your PAYING customers not the ones wanting wholesome entertainment. Oh and Eminem and the others stunk,but did not go over the top sexually. He can’t compare his performance to theirs. I hope this guys 15 minutes are up soon.

I admit I was shocked also-but I am not used to American Music awards- I thought all the others were awful-behavior,singing (what singing??)but— the network is a sham-they saw the rehearsal, approved it all- and only because some complaints, they knock him off? As to your kids? this program is not for kids at all and as Adam so nicely said, parents should control what their kids see–and at ll pm. is not childrens hour anyway.They also knew the lyrics to that “song” were very sexual and not for kids.
I have loved Adams voice all year- and his modest and grounded and helpful personality. He is always well spoken, as he did on CBS this morning. It is ABC who is phony, and I will not take part in it anymore. I am a little ashamed that AL got a little carried away, but I am an older person, and basically my music tastes are not at all what goes on AMAwards (I do not even calal that music-meaning, gaga,etal) but Adam is truly unusual-both in talent and in personality which basically is nothing like what he presents. I am very glad that CBS had his mother on as well, who spoke equally well. forget it ABc- his career is not over, it is just beginning.And I am sure he will be more in command of himself and situations in the future. He was always in command on Idol. thank you CBS

I am appalled at what I saw on the AMA’s. We supported Adam all the way through Idol and were so disappointed when he didn’t win. I think he is sooooo talented and has an awesome voice and always loved seeing his interviews. Like somebody else said he is so humble and such a nice guy. I grew up around gay people and went to many drag shows and always loved the entertainment at a drag show but I have NEVER seen anything like what I saw on the AMA’s. I heard Adam say that it was freedom of Artistic expression. I thought “where was the art in that”?????????? I am just disappointed in him and will not support his career. I recorded the show so that I could show my kids his performance as well as others. So disappointed that they weren’t able to watch it. Adam, I too think you should man up and apologize and admit that there is no artistic expression in that performance just pure trash!!!! I feel like the Adam we saw on Idol was not the Adam we saw at the AMA’s. I can’t even believe that some people are defending it. Whatever happened to having a little class and saving your sexual fantasies for the bedroom!!! I’m disgusted Adam!
