I admit I was shocked as well. But I could not hear the lyrics to that song, and basically I do not like that song. I do understand Adam’s reasons, and basically others have done this before, not just women, but also Elvis-people forget easily. I do hope his record sells well, and it seems he still has a lot of fans-and strangely, mostly women? I bought the record, and some of the songs are not “my taste”-but Adam’s voice is glorious on all of them.Even better than on Idol. I wish him luck.

I love Adam!!! He has a beautiful voice. I am an
Elvis fan to the max. Elvis did some pretty wild
stuff. He didn’t go as far as Adam. I was a little disappointed by the performance on the music award show, but that doesn’t stop me from
enjoying his voice. Good luck Adam.

Have loved Adam from the get go…Finally a male entertainer that can compete with entertainers of the 70′s and 80′s and give a show worth the price of admission. Would love to see Adam headline a Vegas show sometime in the future. Seems Adam has had some life experiences that most people would not dare to venture, but he’s seens wise in what is important to the entertainment industry…Variety!

  • Peggy Says:

He should concentrate on the music not the gay lifestyle. When the fans of American Idol voted and made him the international star it was because of the music not what we seen on the AMA’s.He needs to decide if he wants a career in music or be the poster guy for the insignificant number of people or for the teeny boppers who made him a big hit. I love his album, I will likely buy albums but not his videos because they are to racy for me.

i TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH PEGGY. WHILE I LOVE HIS GLOORIOUS VOICE, I STILL THINK HE MUST BE SEEN, BECAUSE HE IS ALSO A WONDERFUL AND NATURAL PERFORMER. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM PERFORM IN PERSON. BUT WOULD ALSO BUY HIS VIDEO-IN SPITE OF THE AMA. BESIDES THAT, HE TALKS SO VERY INTELLIGENTLY AND ARTICULARLY IN ALL INTERVIEWS, IT IS A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO HIM TALK. AND I DO THINK HE WILL NOT REPAT SUCH A PERFORMANCE. AS HE SAID, HE INTERPRETED THE LYRICS, WHICH WERE VERY VERY RACY, TO SAY THE LEAST (IF YOU COULD UNDERSTAND THEM)AND HE ALSO GOT CARRIED AWAY WITH HIS “MOMENT”. hE IS JUST 27- AND I THINK HE HANDLES HIMSELF VERY INTELLIGENTLY. i WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE AMA, BUT I AM STILL PROUD OF HIM AND WHAT HE SAYS AND DOES. THANK YOU.ELLENA

Adam’s immense talent should be the only issue about which anyone needs to be concerned. He’s gorgeous to look at, and his qualities of humility, respectfulness, sense of humor, and subtle confidence make him SO flippin’ sexy and attractive. Then there are his eyes, smile, laugh, hair, body (especially in those tight leather pants he likes to wear) . . . (Oh crap –this is sounding really sexist?!!! heh-heh) Now, for cryin’ out loud can we just let this sexual orientation crap DIE!!! Why does anyone have to “come out?” Be what you want to be in your private life. It’s no one’s business whose doing what with whom in any of their respective bedrooms. It should be a moot point. Anyway, why does whether anyone is gay in/out, straight, or bi make a difference? I would prefer NOT to know actually, and don’t feel it necessary to share my own sexual preferences. Adam tried to make his sexuality a non-issue all throughout AI, but the media just kept the speculation going and going ad nauseam –until he finally felt compelled to deal with it just to put it to rest –and has he? NO, of course not, because the media just can’t seem to stop focusing on that rather than all the other facets of Adam. Just like his AMA performance –IT’S OVER PEOPLE! The day I come across a story about Adam that doesn’t mention “gay,” “AMA,” or “ABC” will be a banner day! It’s all about THE MUSIC. Wow!!!

I just wish all you Adam-fans would really listen to this song and what Adam does with it SOAKED- believe me, this is better than MAD WORLD,and also what he did with this song. It is our favorsite song on his album. Frankly we are tired of “for your entertainment” and the single they are stessing and he keeps performing everywhere, What do you want from me?
We also like SLEEPWALKER. COMMENTS ANYONE?

  • Michelle Says:

Love You Adam! You are intelligent, well spoken, obviosly brought up well. You are a gentleman…well mannered. It would be an honor to know you even if you were not this rising star we all know and love. Keep reaching for the stars and we will watch you shine!!!

  • Usher Updates Says:

It’s been half a year since Usher put out his single Lil Freak, and I still love it. The Stevie Wonder sample fits wonderfully with Usher’s passionate voice and the horns work well with Nicki Minaj’s hardcore rapping voice! Even though this song didn’t do as well as Usher’s other song, OMG, Lil Freak is the better song, maybe the best on the album.
