Adam Responds to Clay
So, I must say, I was impressed with how Adam handled the Clay bashing of him… When asked about Clay’s comments, here’s what he had to say!
On Access Hollywood, American Idol runner up Adam Lambert responded to Clay Aiken after Aiken knocked Lambert on his blog. “I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before,” said Lambert. “If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him.” Aiken had written that Lambert’s version of “Ring of Fire” was “contrived, awful, and slightly frightening.” He later apologized for his word choice.

I’m not really impressed with Adam’s answer. He came off a little full of himself. He could have accepted Clay’s apology. I’m still an Adam fan but disappointed in him.

Sorry Jennifer, but I cannot agree there. Clay never should have said anything and I didn’t even know who he was before this. What better way to revive yourself than to have a go at Adam? I think Adam was well within his rights and seems that this was a fairly accurate statement? I won’t buy Clay’s album but I will but Adam’s. ‘Nough said.

I think clay… who ever that is,, is just jealous of Adam. He obviously can’t perform or sing like adam. clay’s just making fool of himself and ruining his public image by slandering Adam, who has more fans than he does. Clay, not only should you be sorry for your word choice, you should also be sorry for how you look like.

Clay is such an arrogant douchebag. He really is just riding Adam’s coattails b/c he could never be as good as him. I loved Adam’s response, nothing bothers him! That is so good considering all the people he will come across like Clay (who want to be him or be with him..lol..and can’t be!)

I honestly dont know who Clay thinks he is. He said in his blog that he had not watched anything before and after that, for any contestant, this includes him not watching ANYTHING else by Adam and nothing by Kris. He goes on later to say that Kris has great marketing abilty and is more likeable, comming to his conculsion by what i wonder?
I say Congrats to Adam for handling that like a true pro, Clay needs to learn that even tho he is entittled to a opionion, he needs to becareful with what he says, just like everyone else. And even more so considering he has been on the show and knows what it’s liketo preform in front of others. Learn some respect please, Clay Aiken.

I hate to break it to you all but Clay is right. All of Adams performances are scary. More horror show that anything else. He has to wear pants that tight to sing that high!! All the sqealing and creepy make-up. He makes my skin crawl, Adam is just awful all around and I hope my children never see him for I fear their nightmares will never end! Clay is accurate and should not have appologised!

No, “Adamsucks,” your children will have secret little Adam-appreciation gatherings every Friday night, and will watch his wild performances on youtube. You will have no idea! And when they start wearing black nail polish and experiment with different hairstyles (which just will CREEP. YOU. OUT because you have no ability to accept the new, different, or original. and you have no ability to make your name any of those things, either, “Adamsucks.” brilliant. i will clap for you now.) you will just have to DEAL WITH IT bc most of the world is standing underneath the Adam umbrella and all of those people want your computer to be taken away so you cant say anything unintelligent or ignorant ANY LONGER!

Celeb fueds are so fueled by the media, its annoying. I hate this one the most of all becuase i happen to be a Clay fan and an Adam fan. leaves me in a crappy spot. oh well. love them both anyway

Adam’s version of “Ring of Fire” is my favorite song of the whole Idol series. I also loved his duet with Allyson. I am not an Idol fan, I just love Adam. He is awesome, and I will be buying every album he puts out.

I don’t care what anyone thinks I love Adams eyeliner. Makes him look so sexy, he has beautiful eyes…also i love Clay as well when he was in the it time and he should of won over Studdard, but didn’t…Now adam should of won over Kris and he didn’t but I am looking foward to his records, and concerts like David Cook does…..See you in K.C, mo. in August….I loved ring of fire also….Go Adammm….
